proposer : telosclearbp description : Telos FORCE is a friendly fork of Vader Protocol, which describes itself as an "incentivized liquidity, stablecoin, and lending platform." Launched in November 2021, the Vader Protocol team has provided the world with a cutting edge stable-coin platform, which has faced challenges arising from surging gas fees and disproportionate sell-pressure, resulting in a 90% drop in the market price of its token, VADER. There are three major differences between Vader Protocol and Telos FORCE Protocol, including (1) low/fixed gas fees on Telos FORCE because of the Telos EVM, (2) no front-running, and (3) incentivized dollar-cost-average (DCA) purchasing of FORCE tokens with TLOS. While DCA is an accepted best practice in the investment world, requiring and automating this with smart contracts has never been tried. However, the positive benefits of this sort of system are intuitive. Longer term liquidity is better liquidity. Rewarding the most responsible and disciplined investors with a premium of FORCE will self-select longer term investors, and block short term investors. Because of its smoothing-and-stacking impact on the demand for FORCE, we believe this DCA Rewards feature stands to generate a snowball effect, and may position FORCE as a sort of "Telos Terra? LUNA/UST. Most stable coin protocols, including UST, require millions of dollars worth of initial investment for their liquidity pools, whereas FORCE aims to have much of its liquidity requirements covered through its DCA mechanics. Funds coming from this request - $45K - will go directly toward developing the FORCE protocol platform, and only development. The Telos FORCE Protocol team anticipates raising significantly more capital - at least equal to development costs - to cover marketing expenses for launch. The protocol will be governed by an elected ?Council of Seven?, including at least one member of the TCD and one member of the TF. This Council will make all major decisions, by a majority vote, including version control and hiring, effective 2 years after the FORCE dapp launch.
